Michelle and John

The weather threatened all sorts but nothing could have dampened the spirit for this superb wedding! Michelle looked absolutely fabulous and the colour and joy of this occasion was a delight to film. The Cheshire Stone church, built in 1897, towers above Stockport on the main A6.. and it's history is fascinating (a remarkable chat with the church Organist revealed many interesting facts!!)... The church service was full of atmosphere befitting a place with such history. Both families and the guests enjoyed the wonderful sense of celebration at the Deanwater and we thank everyone for making us so welcome. Particular thanks to Stewart Derbyshire (Photographer) for his organising in tricky weather conditions (!) and for making our job so much easier on the day. Also, thanks to the staff at the Deanwater and the Toastmaster. A special thanks to the superb DJ, Rob Anthony for his help in staging key moments at the evening disco.. Rob's stage show and presentation is as good as it gets.. lights, music and exploding balloons all night long. Brilliant!! Finally, thanks to Aunty Amy for being so nice.. and putting up with an eventually tired and ageing cameraman. It was cool in the gardens late that evening but the atmosphere will always be a fine memory

An apology to James.. his reading to the congregation was so very well done but a large bouquet of flowers on a stand in a direct line with James COMPLETELY obliterated the pulpit area from our designated camera point (we were not allowed to change this position)
